Hi, I’m Sam 💙

I’m a wife, a mom of two amazing kids, a coffee lover, and someone who believes life is too short for bad food, bad coffee, and bad days. But more than anything, I’m a woman who learned—sometimes the hard way—that if you want to live fully, you have to choose yourself.

For years, I didn’t.

I was always behind the camera. The encourager. The hype girl. I poured into my family, my clients, my business… and put myself last. I kept saying I’d focus on my health “someday.” When life slowed down.

When I had more time.

Someday never came.

This past year, I decided to stop waiting. I started getting up earlier. Moving my body. Fueling it differently. Choosing discipline over excuses. Not because I wasn’t enough—but because I finally believed I was worth the effort.

I’ve lost 45 pounds.

But more importantly, I’ve gained confidence, energy, and a deep respect for myself.

For most of my life, I struggled with body image. I was the “big girl.” I avoided being in front of the camera. This year, I changed the narrative. I chose to see my strength. I chose to see my beauty. I chose to step into my own story.

That’s what Diamond Gal Photography is about.

Not perfection.
Not shrinking.
Not waiting.

I don’t photograph perfect bodies.
I photograph real women who choose themselves.

Women who are tired but determined.
Women balancing families, careers, dreams, and doubts.

Women who are stronger than they realize.
